Business Operations and Marketing Coordinator

Work alongside our management team to build a systematic, technology-enabled approach to sales, marketing, and business operations. Ideal for someone organised, tech-confident, and keen to learn how a growing business works.

This is not a creative or design-led marketing role. We work with third-party partners for design and content. Instead, this role is about organisation, coordination, CRM administration, call handling, and supporting structured sales and marketing activity.

It would suit someone who is well organised, is interested in technology-enabled marketing systems, is confident using technology, and is keen to learn how a growing business really works.

We are committed to providing best-in-class customer service; we aim to develop long-term relationships with our clients, to support the installation and long-term effective operation of systems that reduce energy costs and lower carbon emissions.

Responsibilities

  • Administering and developing our new CRM system
  • Using Apollo.io to identify targeted B2B contacts/prospects within focused business sectors
  • Undertaking focused market research, as appropriate
  • Supporting B2B and B2C sales and marketing campaigns from development through execution
  • Coordinating ongoing webpage development and social media activity
  • Helping to organise events within our Partner Programme
  • Taking inbound telephone calls and making outbound follow-up or prospecting calls
  • Helping manage and track leads through sales pipelines
  • Maintaining organised records, dashboards, and documentation, and generating reports
  • Supporting Econergy's increasing use of AI in marketing and business operations

What We're Looking For

  • Highly organised and methodical
  • Clear and professional communication skills, including on the phone
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Keen to learn about business, sales, and how companies grow
  • Confident using technology, and excited to learn about CRM systems and AI
  • Positive attitude and entrepreneurial willingness to learn

Previous experience with CRM platforms, sales support or administration is helpful but not essential; training will be provided. The role could be undertaken as part of a Business/Marketing Apprenticeship, as a placement for a Business/Marketing degree undergraduate, or may suit a new graduate.
